COMMITS NexGen GWAC
The COMMITS NexGen contract vehicle is a 100% small-business, government-wide acquisittion contract (GWAC) for information technology that has a total ceiling of $8 billion over a ten-year term. Veridyne, Inc. was one of fifty-three small businesses to win COMMITS NexGen, the successor to the COMMITS contract, which was awarded by the Department of Commerce (DoC) in 1999 and expired on August 30, 2004. Veridyne officially received their master contract award on January 21, 2005. To successfully respond to COMMITS task orders, Veridyne has assembled the most appropriate, the most qualified, the most tailored TECHPartners Team by creating a network of small to large technology companies from across the country with varied areas of expertise in critical functional areas to deal with the problems and challenges being addressed. This “best-of-breed,” Technology Business Alliance solution will allow Veridyne to craft a tailored team to meet each COMMITS NexGen task order in a manner that will benefit the Federal government.
